Partner Susan Caldwell, head of the Firm’s Environmental Practice Group, was the featured speaker this month at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company’s Symposium on Environmental Risk Management hosted by the Complex and Emerging Risk Claims (CERC) unit in Dover , New Hampshire. The forum focused on new Federal and California legislation in the area of green house gases and emissions regulation and its impact on litigation in the western states.

New lateral hire Chris Dion joins the Los Angeles office bringing more than 20 years of experience to the Firm’s Civil Practice Group. Mr. Dion received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from UCLA in 1983, and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at San Francisco ( Hastings College of the Law) in 1986. He has served in various senior legal and business capacities in a diverse array of real estate and financial businesses, as well as serving nearly 10 years in the media, entertainment and technology industries.
